Vermont's Edge

While other states are be dominated by "Big Cannabis" and their vastly larger resources, Vermont placed a priority on small craft licensing like no other state has done before. Each entity in Vermont can only hold a maximum of one of each license type. What this creates is a market full of small to medium sized businesses since one company cannot come in and simply buy up market share. We believe this one law creates the most fair and equitable cannabis marketplace in the Country.

Our Role

We at Local g want to connect consumers with these small craft businesses. By working exclusively with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, consumers purchasing products within the Local g network know they are supporting small business and small-batch craft. Our approach seeks to highlight the two things that actually matter when it comes to cannabis: the product in the package and the passionate team who crafted it.

Flavor Focused

Testing results are certainly interesting to look at and analyze, but we don't think any piece of paper will ever beat a smell or taste test. Flavor is at the core of any Craft product, and Cannabis has some of the most complex flavor profiles on the planet. These flavor categories seek to provide just a small peek into those complexities, but please do not assume they are all encompassing as many strains express flavors from several categories.
